so, more action at the house... kind of a ship of fools, our house. anyways. apparently on new years eve things got a little heavy down in the basement. brian got up to take a piss or something, around four a.m. maybe? he went to bed early, claiming that new years was for amateur drinkers... anyways. so he heard some screaming of some kind coming up through the grates, like "owww! that fuckin hurts!!" etc... and some thumping around... so he and jade call 911, as you do, i s'pose. the fuzz come along, but they're all like "we don't hear nothing", which b & j laugh at a bit, like, "they'll start up any moment now, we assure you". but the cops always call you back if you call 911, just to make sure yer not makin' bogus calls, i guess. so anyways, jade goes downstairs with the cop, one cop, and shows him the door, they walk around to the outside door of the house to the basement, its all quiet. so they knock at the door, and some dude answers the door with a knife held up above his head like he's norman bates in psycho or something. so jade, i think, decided that this was a matter best left to the po-po. the po-po in question, needless to say, called for some backup. i think there were six cars and a paddy wagon or some such shit. i'm kinda curious about just when all this actually went down. i got home about seven a.m., and i do remember hearing something, some crashing and screaming and shit, but being so out of it with booze and exhaustion and weirdness that i was just like "what.... do you hear that, babe... what is it....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" yeahp. good action though, to bad to miss it. krist. our house has some weird mojo, i tell you.
the part that most personally is affecting the bear and myself is that we zapped a breaker the other day trying to run the electric frying pan and the microwave at the same time, and to snap the thing back we have to go downstairs. but i think i'll give them a couple of days to 'get their heads together' or something.
crackheads! ! I tell ya...
