arp.good long weekend. four days off! good thing too, i needed them. especially after the first two days. spent nigh on 40 hours awake in a dexadryl haze, but i think it was good for me. i mean, probably not good for my body, i'm not totally naive, but it was good for my soul, which is more important, really. had good talks with the gloc, drinkin' whiskey early in the day... nice.
yarp. then ate like a fucking king sunday! damn. steak entrecote for breakfast, with scotch! and those seasons in the park mushroom things. its funny how they never change the menu there. its also funny eating there. weirdo rich people! harrumph.
had good eats with my folks yesterday too. jasa n' i had an adventure of sorts, traveling up to the coast... had to wait at the ferry terminal for ever, the ferry had burned out something, so only one of the propellers was working, and it had to be pushed into the dock by a tug. ridiculous! the one time i don't ask if its running on time! we hadn't had any real breakfast yet, so we were getting a bit annoyed by the time we finally got on, but it all worked out. we had our adventure, ate well, leg of lamb, and watched some hockey. yarp. some more hockey is on the table for 2night. three game sevens! canuckleheads, on the verge of tossing their season down the fucking toilet! well. we'll see. i don't want to be one of those who doggs them too hard, but honestly, sometimes they just play like assholes who don't deserve anything, and other times they play really well, work hard, show some emotion. weirdos. vancouver is a chronic loser place, i swear. must escape! soon enough.
