saw the flaming lips on the weekend... you can read my review at the 3ve website, just scroll down to the "time/space review" section, and click on the appropriate link... it was good... damn good.... like if the arizona jazz farm had time and money :) :) :)
foop. what else? was s'posed to do this screaming e.s.l. punk rock thing on the weekend, but due to miscommunication it didn't seem to transpire... i blame not having a phone. ah well... that situation will have sorted itself out in less than a week, what with the impending move... best start packing! tonight i think i'll get some done... its hard to pack without being under the serious threat of immenent deadline city... i remember when i left rossland... i didn't really start packing until about four in the morning, all high on mushrooms, and we were outta there by.. oh, noon or so, i guess. not so early, but we were out! i had less stuff then, tho. too much stuff now. . . how to get rid of the crap? its weird...posessions, property... its nice to have it, but it sure ties ya down. the crap is the real problem tho... i have a lot of just crap... no conceivable use for it. just tying me down to this reality, i guess. stupid this reality. yargle.!.
anyways, even tho the punky thing fell through, i ended up writing/recording a song during the day, and then i kidnapped arc and we did some stuff, ended up with a nice surf instrumental thing... two minutes of purity, a high speed cleanser for the soul... or...erm... a song,anyways.
we're going to be putting them up on the newmusiccanada website pretty quick... tomorrow maybe. we'll see. those and the remnants of jamming with sketchy scots mike... rock roll! rock!
roll. back to doing some work, i guess...
i sure could use a beer. ;)
