ho ho ho... so, first off, listen to brian wilson playing smile and bullshitting on npr...a high fucking five for npr. ...
on to the real business... hello out there, we're on the air, its bowling night tonight... all action , a fine night all around for the friends of the lane. i almost missed the first game, that would've been a tragedy... for the bowling illiterate, well, if you get there after the fourth frame, you're scuppered for the game, but, if you get there in time, as i did, you can roll the four and jump into the game,... so i get there, after burning to the lane on yeske's bike, parked in front of jj bean, ran inside, ordered mint tea and a cookie through my fogged glasses, and ran next door to bowl... all pumped up on adrenaline from the bike ride, i zoomed around, got my shoes, rolled four quick frames, starting off with a strike! almost felt like i would get all four as strikes, y'know, it was the flow! didn't happen that way , of course, but! i did end up rolling two 186 games... fuck. the second one, i really REALLY should've broken 200... ah well. .. bowling is a motherfucker like that. SOMEONE DID ROLL OVER 200 , tho, ... well, i guess yeske did, too, but, that isn't as exciting, but, pam, who'd been having a rough first two games, blew away the world, rolled 100-plus over her average on the third game and scored a 212!!! fantastic!! a game for the ages, echoing through the mists of time... y'all should've seen it. yas yas yas... anyways, we all had some fine rolling, ....
its true what they say.... "If horse-racing is the sport of kings, then surely bowling is, uh, a very good sport, as well."
what else... ? what else is, its late! sleeping.
