went inside the U2 grocery store for the first time today... considering the years i've been looking at that place from the bus, walking by... well, lets just say it wasn't the arena rock convenience store i was hoping for... but no surprise there.had a kind of funny pick up of furniture at work. well, not all funny. but, a funny moment... this really quite attractive thai lady, who was leaving vancouver to go back to thailand to help her family post tsunami (that sure isn't the funny part), anyways, she was quite nice and really friendly, and as we were taking the mattress out to the elevator she looked at it wistfully and proclaimed "i'm going to miss that mattress, i had a lot of good times on it"...
she gave us thirteen diet pepsi's as a tip. no fat, apparently.
so, tonight, potentially, i'll sing sabbath's hole in the sky with the lads from dovehunter... i don't realllly know the song, sooo... i'll have to get my whisky drinkin' on first...
figured i'd be well down that road already by this time... but my nap in recovery of the working day following the wicked rock & roll as performed late into the night by the black mountaineers seems to have gone on a durn sight longer than i figgured it would... ah well... i'm stronger for it!
