so at a party the other day i met two guys who were wannabe disciples of hunter s. thompson. one of them kept going on about "getting the fear". they were okay guys to talk to, but i had to walk away at that point. there's a big difference between being socially awkward and "the fear". the fear is a bad motherfucker that makes you KNOW that your friends are hallucinations. the fear is a twisting wrenching terror like you are vomiting yourself inside out from your toes on up. being a bit uncomfortable around people you don't know is not "the fear".Escaper [9/20/2005 12:04:00 PM]
